Home at Last!

We are finally home! I've never been so happy to see the Hunt County Line in all my life!
.
After my last post, Levi had another major meltdown in the hotel room, and this one lasted 5-6 hours. He screamed for his Omma (foster mom). He could not be consoled with toys, food, or even piggyback rides. My heart just broke for him because I wanted more than anything to fix it for him.
.
Adam and I were wondering how we were going to make a 12 hour flight with a screaming toddler. I figured the pilot would make an emergency landing in California and escort all three of us off the plane for the sake of the other passengers!
.
But, the next morning (praise the Lord!), Levi woke up an entirely different baby. I think he reasoned, "Well, it looks like I'm stuck with the two of you so I might as well make the best of it." He did amazing in the airport and on the plane! At DFW after going through customs and immigration, we were met by group of friends and family waving American flags and welcoming home our son!
